USA 1 WINS GOLD! AUS 1 WINS SILVER and NZL 1 WINS BRONZE

USA 1 wins gold against AUS 1 and retains the ISAF World Team Racing Trophy. The USA 1 team consisted of Clay Bishoff, Lisa Keith, Colin Merrick, Amanda Callahan, Peter Levesque and Liz Hall.

JPN 2 wins Umpire Challenge Cup
The ISAF Team Racing umpires set the challenge but were unable to follow through. Therefore according to Blue Book and international sailing rules JPN 2 wins due to non appearance of the umpire team at the start line.
Congratulations JPN 2! Be sure to bring the trophy to the next World Team Racing Regatta.
Australia win gold against New Zealand and take home the Ciudad de Gandia Trophy! The under 21 AUS 1 Team consisted of Jasper WARREN, Jamie TURNER, David GILMOUR, Aimee NEGRI, Luke PARKINSON and Patrick VOS. New Zealand (NZL Team 3) in second were presented with the silver medals and Great Britian's (GBR Team 3) with bronze.

8:00 - Racing commenced, After 85 races with round robin four due for completion by midday USA Team 1 maintain their lead with 47 wins overall! Closely followed by AUS 1 and NZL 1 Team with 37 wins followed by AUS 2 and USA 2 both with 35 wins and GBR 2 with 33 wins. Semi finals are due to commence at 12:30 followed by the finals then the Umpires Cup Challege. Ceremony and dinner after the completion of racing at 18:00.

9:00 - Racing commenced, 19:00 racing finished. Due to strong winds round robin 4 will be completed Sunday morning, start time 8:00. Semi finals are due to commence at 12:30 followed by the Umpires Challege then the finals. Presentation dinner after the completion of racing.

9:00 - Racing commenced, Japan Team 1 win race against Ireland Team 1. 12:40 Racing is suspended as winds reaching 22 knots gusting 26 knots. 15:30 racing commenced.18:00 racing finished.

Wednesday 4 February - DAY 3 RACING:
9:00 - Racing commenced, 13:00 Round Robin Series 1 (Stage 1) Round 1 completed, Semi final and final racing complete 4:30.

Defending Champions USA Team 1 continue to lead the way on day 2 of racing at the 2009 ISAF World Team Racing, Perth Western Australia. New Zealand Team 1 hold second place closely followed by AUS Team 2 in third place.
With 37 races to complete Round Robin two racing commenced at 9:00. U21 semi - finals and finals will be raced in the afternoon followed by presentations evening awarding the U21 World Championship medal. Thursday will be a lay day moving the event to RFBYC.

10:30 - Racing postponed, Racing commenced 11:30, Racing finished 19:00. After day one of racing USA Team 1 are eight wins 100%, followed by AUS 2 on 89% and, AUS 1 and GBR 1 on 67%. Tuesday's weather is forecast for slightly cooler tempuratures, with less humidity and stronger breezes.
