Travel arrangements to Perth will be the responsibility of each team.
Perth has an international airport connecting daily with Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North America, and Africa, and is well serviced domestically with all major Australian cities Whilst getting to Perth should not be difficult, it is usually a long flight and planning for that and flight recovery (jet lag) is advisable.
The OC will take care of all event ground travel arrangements for competitors and officials, once they are in Perth. The OC will arrange charter bus transfers for all competitors and officials both to and from airports, and between their accommodation and the venues at the commencement and conclusion of each days racing, for the opening and closing ceremonies, and for the organised layday activity.
Perth is also well serviced by public transport systems and details of these for private and evening use will be provided to all competitors.
Low budget Hire cars are also available at relatively low cost, and details of these and packages negotiated for the event will be sent to all competitors and officials.
The organisers will provide an airport shuttle service.
