The weather room

The prevailing weather during the months of January and February is typically a night easterly or south easterly wind varying from 5 to 18 knots which prevails until late morning and is then displaced by a south westerly sea breeze as the land heats. The sea breeze can vary in strength from 15 to 25 knots on the coast, and is usually 5 to 10 knots lighter inland where the proposed venues are situated.
The day time temperatures at this time of year are usually in the 30 to 35 degrees Celsius range, but can reach 35 to 40 degrees Celsius before the sea breeze arrives. The night time temperature usually drops to a comfortable 15 to 20 degrees.
